Passionately built with respect towards tradition and an eye on innovation… These are just a few of the hot rods that have been born at Rex Rods.

Tardel/Cochran 1930 Ford Coupe
The Tardel/Cochran coupe was built for Ryan Cochran in 2006 and unveiled to him just prior to the 2006 Hot Rod Revolution. Lots of folks were in on the surprise, but not Ryan… You can read his account here.
The little coupe is based on a set of deuce rails locating a heavy ’32 axle up front and a quick change out back. The warmed over flathead is juiced by two 97′s on a Thickstun intake and geared up with a ’39 box. It runs out beautifully and sounds incredible.

Giosso’s 1930 Ford Roadster
Emulating a rich kid’s ride in the late 40′s/early 50′s, this roadster was built with up-scale tradition in mind. The theme is carried out through wide whites, a beautifully stitched interior, and the soothing lines of the ’30 roadster body mated to deuce rails. The finer details haven’t hindered performance or reliability on this little roadster either – Sam has racked up many a comfortable mile since the car was finished.

Tony Miller’s 1934 Ford Truck
Tony Miller wanted a truck that he could drive everyday, but that still had that old Ford look and feel. Rex Rods built him classic hauler with a vintageand super detailed small block chevy, 3 pedals, and all the character of a mid 50′s hot rod. The end result is a perfect daily vehicle that is as functional as it is gorgeous.

Flip’s 1933 Ford Coupe
It’s hard not to fall in love with the sinister yet subtle look of Flip’s 1933 Ford coupe. It was built to be dead fast… Unfortunately, it was involved in a street accident a few years after it was built. Although Flip made it out just fine, the car suffered some damage and is currently getting ready for a rebuild.

1928 Ford Roadster Pickup
A salt splattered cowl section, a tuned flathead, a set of bias tires, and some black primer – the key elements of this perfect little hot rod. The ’28 RPU was one of Keith’s first builds and remains one of his favorites. It’s pretty damned easy to see why!

1927 FordXF/BFMR Speedster
Following the tradition of hot rodders since the 1940′s, Keith Tardel and Rex Rod & Chassis decided it was time to go salt lake racing. The result is this record setting Model T roadster powered by a blown flathead.
